  1. Fantastic description! You have quite a gift for words that I can only dream of having. Your description of Henry alone would have me clamoring to watch the show if I hadn’t already.

What more could we do that we haven’t already done to save our show? I think it has all been done including sending red silk undies!

I am a proud member of Ms Gypsy’s girls and will continue to do what I can to save BT!

  3. […] I could go on with all the reasons why I love this show, and it isn’t simply because it is based on a Canadian book, set in Canada, shot and produced in Canada, featuring Canadian talent.  (I feel like we’re about to appear in a Molson Canadian beer ad here.  Who wants to say ‘I AM Canadian’?)  Luckily someone else has already expressed my thoughts and in a much more succint form than I ever could.  So, to see why I love this show and you should too head on over to Bring Blood Ties Back to Life « Skiffy.ca. 5. You are so on my list of favorite blog authors – just for this single article. 😎

As a fan of Blood Ties I am more than willing to follow this production to any network that will pick it up. I have done my part and hope the rest of the viewers are doing the same. I know the ladies at Gypsy’s are working hard to save it as are the people at Kyle Schmid Central and Blood Lines.

Thank you for your lovely words of support!

  6. Bravo! You said so eloquently what all Blood Ties fans feel. I’m doing my part to help convince The Powers That be to give us more BT. They just CAN’T leave us hanging after Deep Dark.

  9. Ditto to what Kady said! I couldn’t put it any better myself. You covered every possible aspect of the program and then some. I never realized how much I/we relate to the reality of Mike – how enlightening to read it here and see that light bulb go off in my head!
It makes one wonder WHY a network would pass on such a fun little show with such growth potential. Cross your fingers folks – we do need more seasons of Blood Ties!

  10. Thanks so much! Blood Ties needs to be saved for all these reasons and so many more. Why any network would pass on a show that has the fan following that Blood Ties has is beyond me. Why, imagine – put on a show, get millions of instant viewers – does’t seem that complicated to me!
